Primary Procedures, a Nationwide continuing education company for Practitioners applauds the new change in law for 2021 in Massachusetts!  The Governor of MA. signed into law legislation that allows Nurse Practitioners to practice independently without Physician supervision, this is great news for all Practitioners as there are now 23 states plus the District of Columbia and two U.S. territories that allow full practice authority for Nurse Practitioners!  This comes at such a critical time when Practitioners are needed more then ever with the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine.  The Healthcare industry continues under severe strain as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, the recent shortfall in vaccinations has shown how just how important Nurse Practitioners are in the critical U.S. effort to control and eliminate the current pandemic.
